Job Description

FinAuto’s Machine Learning and Data Sciences team is hiring a senior applied scientist in Bengaluru. The role designs and deploys scalable predictive models on Amazon’s historical business data, works with engineering teams on real-time model implementations, and helps operations and business owners run finance processes more efficiently. It also sets up automated processes for large-scale analysis, model validation and deployment.

Its machine learning and data science group applies ML, statistics and causal inference to that transaction data to automate and optimise finance processes.

What Amazon is looking for

  • At least 7 years of building machine learning models for business applications
  • A master’s degree, or a PhD and at least 5 years of applied research experience
  • Programming in Java, C++, Python or a related language
  • Experience with neural deep learning methods and machine learning

Nice to have

  • Modelling tools such as R, scikit-learn, Spark MLlib, MXNet, TensorFlow, NumPy and SciPy
  • Large-scale distributed systems such as Hadoop and Spark
