Job Description
GlobalFoundries’ Silicon Photonics Product Line is hiring an advanced photonics engineer for its Advanced Photonics team, based in Malta, New York, Santa Clara or Austin. The engineer sets the roadmap for next-generation photonic devices, defines advanced photonic building blocks and subsystems, turns customer system requirements into device and platform innovations, and works with GF Labs, development and fab teams to bring them to production. A PhD is strongly preferred.
