Form Energy’s characterisation team is hiring a staff characterisation chemist in Somerville to own and develop advanced characterisation methods for its iron-air battery product. The chemist works with engineering teams to find big open questions, develops and validates methods, runs wet chemistry, ICP-OES/MS and spectroscopy services, and manages technicians so that requests are handled quickly with high data quality. A PhD with some work experience qualifies.
