Aarushi Singla

Physics postgraduate who completed an M.Sc. (Hons) in Physics at Panjab University, Chandigarh in 2026, after a B.Sc. (Hons) in Physics from I.K. Gujral Punjab Technical University, Jalandhar in 2024, which was passed with distinction.

Coursework and areas of study: mathematical physics, classical mechanics, quantum mechanics, relativistic quantum mechanics and quantum field theory, classical electrodynamics and general relativity, statistical mechanics, condensed matter physics (including advanced condensed matter), nuclear and particle physics, electronics, radiation safety, and experimental techniques in nuclear and particle physics, with accompanying physics, computational physics and computer laboratory courses.

Qualifications and activities: qualified GATE in Physics in 2026 with an all-India rank of 2303. Took part in international and national science and mathematics olympiads, winning gold and silver medals. Attended an after-school astronomy workshop run by the Scientific Development and Research Organisation, a PCB design workshop with Altium Education at Chandigarh University, and a three-day workshop on recent trends in engineering areas of physics at the Department of Physics, Panjab University.

Tools: basics of C++, LaTeX and Gnuplot, along with MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and Canva. Speaks and writes English, Hindi and Punjabi fluently.
