What the computational biology scientist at Eikon will do
- Act as the go-to expert for high-dimensional data such as bulk and single-cell or single-nucleus transcriptomics
- Work with discovery scientists to design and read in vitro and in vivo studies
- Run reproducible analyses of transcriptomic, genomic and other complex data
- Build internal tools and pipelines, and oversee outside analysis partners
- Use version control and workflow tools, and help write papers and talks

What Eikon Therapeutics is looking for
- A PhD in bioinformatics, computational biology or a related quantitative field
- Analysis of complex data such as bulk, single-cell or spatial transcriptomics, ChIP-seq, ATAC-seq, CRISPR screens or proteomics
- Hands-on oncology target discovery and validation
- At least one first-author paper in a peer-reviewed journal
- Work with public data sets such as DepMap, UK Biobank, TCGA, GTEx, ENCODE and the Human Cell Atlas
- R or Python, plus cloud, version control and containers
Nice to have
- Internship or industry experience, which the ad calls highly desirable
