What the Evonik lubricant formulation lead will do

• Run blend optimisation studies so a lubricant reaches its target performance
• Test the physical, mechanical and chemical properties of formulated oils
• Write test reports and present data to internal and external partners
• Keep detailed lab notebooks, test protocols and reports
• Work with outside test labs and with Evonik’s global R&D team
• Write and update SOPs, test methods and calibration records
• Calibrate and maintain lab equipment, and take part in lab audits and round-robin tests
• Follow safety rules for testing, chemical handling and waste disposal
