  • Plan and run work at lab, semi-technical, pilot plant or manufacturing scale
  • Interpret data and help decide the direction of the work programme

What Syngenta is looking for

  • Master’s degree in pesticide or agrochemical chemistry from a reputed university, with a strong academic record
  • More than 8 years of industry experience as a formulation development chemist for pesticides
  • Deep knowledge of pesticides, formulation types and formulation techniques
  • Sound understanding of agrochemical formulations, co-formulations and fillers (the posting calls this a must)
  • Ability to set up lab work and experiments, and to deliver to agreed timelines
  • Good communication and team skills, including work in regional and global teams

Pay and location

The posting does not state pay. The posting lists benefits: a yearly health check, insurance, an employee assistance programme, 30 days of paid vacation and 12 paid holidays, parental leave and education support.
