Job Description

GlobalFoundries in Bengaluru is hiring an Analog Mixed-Signal (AMS) Verification Engineer with two to four years of experience to plan and run verification of analog and mixed-signal IP. The work covers Verilog-A/AMS and SystemVerilog models, mixed-signal testbenches and co-simulation, post-layout simulation and regression automation.

At a glance

  • Role: Analog Mixed-Signal Verification Engineer (req. JR-2503471)
  • Focus: AMS verification of analog/mixed-signal IP
  • Location: Bengaluru (North), India
  • Experience: BS/MS with 2–4 years in AMS verification
  • Posted: 3 August 2026
  • Apply: open until filled (re-checked 14 October 2026)

What you would do

  • Develop and run AMS verification plans for analog and mixed-signal IP
  • Write behavioural models in Verilog-A/AMS and SystemVerilog
  • Build mixed-signal testbenches and co-simulate with Spectre, Xcelium and AMS Designer
  • Use Calibre, CustomSim and Virtuoso for extraction, LVS/DRC and post-layout simulation
  • Automate regressions and coverage, and correlate with post-silicon results

Why this role matters

Analog and mixed-signal IP from a foundry is used by many customers’ chips, so it has to work across process corners and use cases. Verifying it well needs behavioural models, co-simulation and post-layout checks, which is what this role covers.

What GlobalFoundries is looking for

  • BS or MS in electrical engineering or a related field
  • 2–4 years of analog/mixed-signal verification
  • Cadence Virtuoso, Spectre, ADE-XL, SystemVerilog and Verilog-A/AMS
  • Good understanding of analog blocks and verification methodology

Nice to have

  • Real-number modelling
  • Silicon debug and post-silicon validation
  • Python, Perl or Tcl scripting
