Job Description
GlobalFoundries in Bengaluru is hiring an Analog Mixed-Signal (AMS) Verification Engineer with two to four years of experience to plan and run verification of analog and mixed-signal IP. The work covers Verilog-A/AMS and SystemVerilog models, mixed-signal testbenches and co-simulation, post-layout simulation and regression automation.
At a glance
- Role: Analog Mixed-Signal Verification Engineer (req. JR-2503471)
- Focus: AMS verification of analog/mixed-signal IP
- Location: Bengaluru (North), India
- Experience: BS/MS with 2–4 years in AMS verification
- Posted: 3 August 2026
- Apply: open until filled (re-checked 14 October 2026)
What you would do
- Develop and run AMS verification plans for analog and mixed-signal IP
- Write behavioural models in Verilog-A/AMS and SystemVerilog
- Build mixed-signal testbenches and co-simulate with Spectre, Xcelium and AMS Designer
- Use Calibre, CustomSim and Virtuoso for extraction, LVS/DRC and post-layout simulation
- Automate regressions and coverage, and correlate with post-silicon results
Why this role matters
Analog and mixed-signal IP from a foundry is used by many customers’ chips, so it has to work across process corners and use cases. Verifying it well needs behavioural models, co-simulation and post-layout checks, which is what this role covers.
What GlobalFoundries is looking for
- BS or MS in electrical engineering or a related field
- 2–4 years of analog/mixed-signal verification
- Cadence Virtuoso, Spectre, ADE-XL, SystemVerilog and Verilog-A/AMS
- Good understanding of analog blocks and verification methodology
Nice to have
- Real-number modelling
- Silicon debug and post-silicon validation
- Python, Perl or Tcl scripting
