Anthropic is hiring an Applied AI Architect in Bangalore: a senior pre-sales technical adviser who helps large enterprises in India and the Asia-Pacific region understand what Claude can do and takes them from first evaluation to production deployment.

About the applied AI architect role
- Work with account executives to understand customer needs and turn them into technical solutions that fit business goals
- Be the main technical adviser to enterprise customers from discovery and evaluation through deployment, coordinating teams inside Anthropic
- Support customers building with both the Claude API and Claude for Work
- Create and deliver technical content for every audience, from engineering deep dives to executive conversations about business value
- Guide architecture decisions and help customers integrate Claude into their existing technology stacks
- Help customers design evaluation frameworks that measure Claude on their own use cases, and feed common integration patterns back to product and engineering
Applied AI architects sit between customers and Anthropic’s product and engineering teams. The work is technical, covering architecture, integration and evaluation design, but it is equally about helping organisations decide where large language models add real value and how to deploy them responsibly.
What Anthropic is looking for
- 10+ years in technical customer-facing roles such as solutions architect, sales engineer or technical account manager
- Experience with enterprise customers in India or the Asia-Pacific region, including complex buying decisions with many stakeholders
- The ability to explain technical ideas to everyone from C-suite executives to engineering and IT teams
- Experience designing scalable cloud architectures and integrating with enterprise systems
- Familiarity with common LLM frameworks and tools, or a background in machine learning or data science
- A bachelor’s degree or an equivalent mix of education, training and experience
Nice to have
- A love of teaching and mentoring
- Comfort working across cultures and time zones in a global team
- Enthusiasm for using technology in ways that are safe and beneficial
