Job Description
Anthropic is hiring an Applied AI Architect for partnerships in Bangalore. It is a pre-sales role that builds technical relationships with global and regional system integrators (GSIs and RSIs) and cloud partners, so that they can design and deliver Claude-based solutions for their own customers.
At a glance
- Role: Applied AI Architect, Partnerships (partner solutions architect)
- Where: Bangalore, India (hybrid, in office at least 25% of the time)
- Experience: 10+ years in customer- or partner-facing technical roles
- Partners: global and regional system integrators and cloud providers
- Apply: open until filled (re-checked 11 October 2026)
About the partnerships architect role
- Act as a technical thought partner to Anthropic’s go-to-market partnerships team: map the partner landscape, drive strategic programmes and spot opportunities
- Work with partners to identify high-value, industry-specific generative AI applications, build joint solutions and codify reference architectures and best practice
- Step in directly to unblock strategic customer deals where partners deliver the work
- Represent Anthropic at partner events, customer workshops, summits and conferences, and lead developer events, hackathons and enablement sessions
- Test and gather feedback on Anthropic’s products in partner use cases and pass it to the teams that shape the roadmap
Applied AI architects sit between customers and Anthropic’s product and engineering teams. The work is technical, covering architecture, integration and evaluation design, but it is equally about helping organisations decide where large language models add real value and how to deploy them responsibly.
What Anthropic is looking for
- 10+ years in technical customer- or partner-facing roles such as solutions architect, sales engineer or partner sales engineer
- A record of working with GSIs and/or cloud providers on complex technical problems, from solution design to customer delivery
- The ability to build relationships and explain technical ideas to C-suite executives, engineers and IT teams
- Strong presentation skills, and experience designing scalable cloud architectures and integrating with enterprise systems
- Familiarity with LLM frameworks and tools, or a background in machine learning or data science
- A bachelor’s degree or an equivalent mix of education, training and experience
Nice to have
- A love of teaching and mentoring
- Enjoyment of cross-organisational work and balancing competing priorities

How to prepare for this application
- Know the partner landscape: understand how large Indian and global system integrators package and sell AI services, and where a model provider fits.
- Reference architectures: prepare one end to end, for example a customer-support assistant using retrieval, deployed through a major cloud platform.
- Cloud channels: Claude is also offered through cloud marketplaces such as Amazon Bedrock and Google Cloud Vertex AI; know how that changes a partner's delivery.
- Enablement: bring an example of a hackathon, workshop or training you ran and what changed afterwards.
- Deal support: prepare a story of unblocking a stuck technical deal.
