About the ROW AOP role
- Develop AI agents for data analytics
- Analyse data with statistical and ML techniques
- Build analyses and models in Python or R and tools such as SAS or MATLAB
- Develop science-based supply chain solutions
- Document analyses and models, and keep up with new statistical and ML methods
Problems the team works on

What Amazon is looking for
- At least 2 years of data scientist experience
- At least 3 years with SQL, a scripting language such as Python, or statistical software such as R, SAS or MATLAB
- At least 3 years with machine learning and statistical modelling tools and techniques
- At least 1 year guiding or coaching a group of researchers, and at least 1 year working with or evaluating AI systems
- At least 1 year creating or contributing to mathematical textbooks, research papers or educational content
- A master’s degree in a STEM field, or equivalent STEM work experience
Nice to have
- A PhD in a STEM field
- Machine learning or data science experience at a large technology company
- Defining benchmarks for assessing GenAI model performance
- Multi-team, cross-disciplinary projects and quantitative business analysis
