About the AI agents developer role
- Design, develop and deploy AI agents for business-critical workflows, focusing on LLM orchestration and tools
- Implement agent behaviour with frameworks such as LangChain or LangGraph, including ReAct reasoning-and-action loops
- Build a fast React application for the agent’s user interface, with reusable components
- Work with back-end teams to integrate APIs and services and build tools for agents, using Python or Node.js middleware
- Add observability and tracing for agent runs and system performance
- Take part in architecture discussions and write clean, tested, documented code
What Databricks is looking for
- 3+ years of full-stack development with strong Python and React.js
- At least one AI agent or LLM application you designed, built and deployed to production
- Deep knowledge of LLM orchestration, prompt engineering and tool use
- Experience with LangChain or LangGraph and patterns such as ReAct, plus observability and tracing for agents
- Enterprise-scale applications, REST or GraphQL integration, and Agile teams
Nice to have
- Node.js or Python middleware
- Salesforce APIs (REST, Apex, RLM/CPQ)
- Event-driven architecture such as webhooks, change data capture and async processing
- CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practice
