GPS does not work well indoors, and cameras raise privacy concerns. Millimetre-wave radar can sense position and movement through its reflections, which makes it a candidate for tracking several people and mapping rooms at the same time. Doing that reliably involves signal processing, systems building and learning from noisy sensor data.

How to prepare for this application
- Show systems projects: a project where you collected and processed real sensor data (radar, WiFi, IMU or audio) is more convincing than coursework alone.
