Job Description

The EI2 Lab in NTU’s School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering is hiring a postdoc or research fellow for independent research on next-generation electrochemical energy systems, focused on solid-state batteries, interfacial chemistry, electro-chemo-mechanics and new energy materials. The fellow will synthesise materials, run electrochemical, mechanical and advanced characterisation, work with academic and industry partners and mentor students. About the EI2 Lab

The lab (wrzhanglab.com) works on ion conductors and their interfaces with other materials: how ions and electrons move in the conductor and how chemistry, electrochemistry and mechanics interact at interfaces. Its targets include high-energy Li and Na batteries, all-solid-state batteries, sensors and electrochemical transistors. It sits in NTU’s School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering.
