Why this role matters
ICTS is one of India’s main centres for theoretical science, with a busy programme of schools and visitors. A postdoc here puts you in touch with researchers from around the world. The CALIBRE track pays well and joins two strong Bengaluru institutes.
Eligibility
- A PhD by the time you join
- For CALIBRE, tick the CALIBRE box in the application portal
- For the Simons post, say so in your cover letter or research statement
- The ANRF National Postdoctoral Fellowship route is for Indian citizens only
The pages differ on some details. The main page asks for at least two recommendation letters, but the CALIBRE page asks for three. Start dates also differ by track. Read the page for your track before you apply.
Pay and duration
- Regular program: fellowship and benefits as per the grant or funding agency. No amount is stated
- CALIBRE: up to Rs 1,25,000 a month, based on qualifications and experience, plus up to Rs 3,00,000 a year for research and travel
