Job Description
This reinforcement learning research scientist job in NVIDIA’s Nemotron Harness team, based in Zurich or remote in the UK, develops models together with the harnesses around them, aiming at longer task horizons, better memory and stronger general capability in LLM and vision-language systems.

What NVIDIA is looking for
- A PhD or equivalent, and 6+ years of experience in computer science or a related technical field before joining
- A research background in machine learning, AI, computational statistics or applied mathematics
- A consistent record of research publications
- Proficiency in Python or similar languages, and experience collecting and analysing data from many sources
Nice to have
- Building and analysing large models for vision, language, speech or general agents
- Leadership in AI research communities
- Open-source contributions
