What the analytical R&D senior scientist does

• Develop, validate and transfer LC-MS/MS, GC-MS/MS and ICP-MS methods for trace impurities, from ppm to sub-ppb
• Measure elemental impurities, residual solvents, extractables and leachables, and nitrosamines
• Run extraction studies on packaging and products to find possible impurities
• Use mass spectrometry to solve structural and quantitative problems
• Run stability and shelf-life studies, and test with HPLC/UPLC, GC, IC and AAS
• Manage method transfers to other labs and sites, write method reports, and own instruments
• Lead analytical projects and represent analytical science in global project teams

What Kenvue is looking for

• At least an MSc, B.Pharm, M.Pharm or PhD in a science stream, or equivalent
• 7 to 12 years in analytical development, quality control or a related role in healthcare, pharma, FMCG, food or nutraceuticals
• Strong hands-on skill in identification, quantification and structure work with ICP-MS, LC-MS/MS and GC-MS/MS (the posting says this is a must)
• Method development, validation and stability work with UPLC, HPLC and GC
• Knowledge of current GMP, quality systems and global regulations
• Good communication and work across functions, sites and regions
