Databricks is hiring a Senior Software Engineer for data and AI observability in Bengaluru. On the Customer Foresight team, you would build products that show customers what is happening in their AI and data workloads, so they can improve performance and lower costs.

About the AI observability engineer role
- Build systems that let customers answer questions about their Databricks environment through a reliable, timely observability interface
- Make it easy for framework teams across Databricks to publish their data to customers
- Lead large milestones on the observability roadmap and contribute to long-term product vision
- Mentor other engineers
- Improve the scalability and cost of large data pipelines that process billions of entries a day
- Integrate with popular tools in the wider data-warehousing ecosystem
Companies are spending heavily on AI and on the data platforms behind it, but often cannot see clearly what those workloads are doing or costing. Observability products answer that question, which makes this a data-infrastructure role at the heart of how enterprises run AI.
