Job Description

NXP’s silicon validation team in Pune is hiring a Staff Analog Validation Engineer who can also apply machine learning. The engineer validates analog and mixed-signal IP on next-generation microcontrollers (PLLs, ADCs, regulators, PMUs, sensors) across voltage, temperature, process and frequency, and builds ML tools for anomaly detection, failure clustering and root-cause prediction.

What you would do

• Plan and run validation of analog and mixed-signal IP in MCU and MPU products across voltage, temperature, process and frequency
• Validate PLLs, oscillators, ADCs, DACs, LDO/DC-DC regulators, PMUs, comparators, sensors, clocking and high-speed interfaces
• Run shmoo, margin, stress and reliability tests, and correlate silicon with simulation
• Build ML tools for anomaly detection, failure clustering, root-cause prediction and trend analysis
• Create dashboards and predictive analytics for validation teams

What NXP is looking for

• A bachelor’s or master’s in electrical, electronics or computer engineering
• 7+ years in analog semiconductor validation, product engineering or silicon debug
• Hands-on MCU, embedded systems and lab bring-up with JTAG, logic analysers and scopes

Nice to have

• Machine learning applied to test or characterisation data
