Job Description

Micron in Hyderabad is hiring a Staff Engineer in analog design to design the power-management circuits inside its advanced DRAM chips: bandgap and current references, regulators, charge pumps, amplifiers and comparators in leading-edge process nodes. The engineer takes circuits from design and layout through simulation to tape-out and silicon learning.

What you would do

• Design, implement and improve analog power-management IP such as bandgaps, voltage and current references, regulators, charge pumps, CMOS amplifiers and comparators
• Model parasitics and support design validation, reticle experiments and tape-out revisions
• Manage layout including floor-planning, placement and routing, and verify designs with industry-standard simulators
• Work with probe, assembly, test, process integration and product engineering teams on manufacturability
• Bring new ideas into future memory generations

What Micron is looking for

• Strong transistor-level analog design skills in advanced CMOS nodes
• Experience with the analog blocks listed above and with SPICE-class simulation
• Understanding of layout, parasitics and how they affect analog performance
• Good communication across design, CAD, modelling and verification groups

Nice to have

• Earlier work on memory products or power management for large digital chips
