Job Description
Mid Sweden University’s Department of Psychology and Social Work is recruiting a doctoral student in psychology for a project at the meeting point of social psychology and sociolinguistics. It studies how accents work as social signals, looking at perception, attitudes, emotions and behaviour towards foreign accents, and at stereotypes, discrimination and inclusion, with a gender perspective throughout. The methods are mainly experimental and psychometric, with possible neuroscientific methods such as EEG.
