Job Description
The Andrei laboratory in NTU’s School of Materials Science and Engineering is hiring a research fellow to build photo(electro)catalytic systems for unassisted solar fuel and chemical synthesis. The work includes artificial leaves and nanoparticle photocatalysts for water splitting, CO2 reduction and oxidative organic reactions, setting up a characterisation platform (solar simulator, potentiostat, PEC cells, gas chromatograph) and benchmarking devices outdoors.

What NTU is looking for
- A PhD in materials science, chemistry, chemical engineering or a related field
- Essential: perovskite or oxide photoelectrode fabrication, or nanoparticle, quantum dot or nanocrystal photocatalyst synthesis
- Data analysis and manuscript drafting
- Independence, teamwork and good organisation
Nice to have
- Photo(electro)catalytic testing and product analysis (GC, NMR, HPLC)
- 3D CAD, reactor engineering or organic synthesis
