Job Description
Argonne’s Chemical Sciences and Engineering Division is hiring a postdoctoral appointee to build meso- and macroscale models of next-generation batteries, especially solid-state batteries with lithium and sodium metal anodes. Models based on mass, momentum and energy conservation will describe morphology change, dendrite growth, side reactions and delamination, with strong use of AI tools and agentic workflows. It suits PhDs from the last five years.
