Job Description

Micron in Bengaluru is hiring a Senior Engineer for analog and mixed-signal (AMS) IP verification on DRAM and emerging memory designs. The work is pre-silicon: building SPICE and mixed-signal testbenches, writing Verilog and Verilog-A models, running regressions and chasing coverage, together with colleagues in other countries.

At a glance

  • Role: Senior Engineer, AMS IP Verification (req. JR97030)
  • Focus: Pre-silicon verification of DRAM and emerging memory IP
  • Location: Bengaluru, India
  • Posted: 7 September 2026
  • Apply: open until filled (re-checked 14 October 2026)

What you would do

  • Simulate, analyse and debug pre-silicon IP designs
  • Write test cases and stimulus to raise functional coverage for DRAM and emerging memory features
  • Build and maintain testbenches and vectors, and run regressions for coverage
  • Help develop new verification flows, methods and environments with international colleagues

Why this role matters

Memory chips mix large analog blocks (sense amplifiers, charge pumps, regulators) with digital control logic, so verifying them needs both SPICE-level accuracy and the speed of digital simulation. AMS verification engineers sit exactly at that boundary, which makes the skill set scarce and portable across memory, power and interface products.

What Micron is looking for

  • Good understanding of analog and mixed-signal circuits and AMS verification
  • Tools such as Virtuoso, PrimeSim/FineSim, HSPICE, Xcelium, SimVision and Waveview
  • Hands-on Verilog modelling and SPICE testbenches at block and full-chip level
  • SystemVerilog and UVM-based verification experience

Nice to have

  • Verilog-A/MS or real-number model writing
  • Building co-simulation or mixed-signal verification environments

Pay and location

Micron Technology does not publish a salary in this ad; pay depends on experience and grade. The role is based in Bengaluru, India; check the posting for the exact site and any hybrid working arrangement.

How to apply

How to prepare for this application

  • Show both worlds: analog testbenches and digital UVM work are both part of this role.
  • Modelling counts: describe Verilog-A or real-number models you wrote and how you validated them.
  • Name the tools: list the simulators you used at block and full-chip level.
  • Memory interest: any DRAM or emerging-memory exposure is a plus.
