What you would do
- Develop, improve and maintain compact models for CMOS, BJT and LDMOS devices for SPICE simulators
- Validate models against measured device data and fix simulation convergence problems
- Develop deep-learning methods and ML workflows to speed parameter extraction
- Build scripts to automate extraction and reporting, and write up results
What Analog Devices is looking for
- A Ph.D. in semiconductor device physics, characterisation, modelling or a related field
- Skill in optimisation algorithms, data correlation and automated extraction
- Strong analytical skills and ability to work with process, modelling and PDK teams
Nice to have
- Device characterisation and measurement experience
- Python and Verilog-A programming
- Deep learning or scientific ML with PyTorch, TensorFlow or JAX
