Job Description

DTU’s Division for Power and Energy Systems is hiring two postdocs to develop next-generation machine learning tools for electricity grids. One will coordinate pilots in the new GenAISIS project and build trustworthy AI foundation models for secure operation and planning of real grids; the other will develop AI methods for autonomous design and verification of power-system controllers and use LLMs to orchestrate digital-twin simulations in the EU project ODEON.

  • A Ph.D. in power systems, electrical engineering, machine learning or a related field
  • Experience applying machine learning to power or energy systems
  • Ability to lead activities in collaborative projects

Nice to have

  • Experience with digital twins, LLM agents or control verification

Pay and location

Salary follows the collective agreement with the Danish Confederation of Professional Associations, with supplements negotiable under DTU’s salary structure for scientific staff; the ad does not give a figure.
