Amazon’s Trust CX Innovations team, part of Devices and Services, is hiring an applied scientist with a strong background in generative AI to build solutions that uphold customer trust for Alexa+. The role leads research in trust-preserving machine learning, covering LLMs and multimodal models, AI safety and alignment, and responsible AI, and works at the intersection of AI, privacy engineering and customer-centred design.

About the trust and AI policy science role

- At least 3 years of building models for business applications
- A PhD, or a master’s degree and at least 4 years of experience in CS, CE, ML or a related field
- Patents or publications at top peer-reviewed conferences or journals
- Programming in Java, C++, Python or a related language
Nice to have
- Professional software development experience
- A background in AI safety and alignment research
