Please read the official IISER Thiruvananthapuram rolling advertisement before applying, and browse more faculty jobs on ResearchJobs.in.

How to prepare for this application

  • Fit a listed sub-area: the areas are narrow (for example, quantum biology or Bayesian statistics), so show clearly where you fit.
  • Teaching matters: IISERs combine research with a strong undergraduate science programme, so propose courses you could teach.
  • Check the portal is open: it closes temporarily while each phase is processed; if it is closed, check back rather than emailing.
  • Grade I experience: count only post-Ph.D. industrial, research or teaching experience towards the three years.
  • Keep documents ready: incomplete applications are rejected, so upload every certificate the form asks for.
