Eligibility

• Ph.D. with first class or equivalent (in terms of grades) in the appropriate branch, with a very good academic record in all preceding degrees
• Fresh Ph.D.s are encouraged; candidates who have submitted the dissertation and await the oral exam may also apply
• Indian nationals; Persons of Indian Origin (PIOs) and Overseas Citizens of India (OCIs) may also apply
