Job Description
Nuro is hiring a machine learning research scientist to develop generative models, especially diffusion, flow-matching and energy-based models, that generate driving plans for its self-driving system. The role also explores using large language and world foundation models for reasoning, reinforcement learning to improve interactive reasoning, learned verifiers, and joint prediction and planning.

What you would do
- Develop and scale diffusion, flow-matching and energy-based models for autonomous plan generation
- Build generative models with foundation models, and use LLMs and world models for reasoning and decision-making
- Optimise generative planners with reinforcement learning
- Explore reward models and learned verifiers, joint prediction and planning, self-play and active learning
