How to prepare a strong AI4X application
- Find your mentor first: the mentor's letter is required, so write to NTU faculty whose work fits your idea several weeks before the deadline, with a short summary of your proposal.
- Make AI essential, not decorative: reviewers will look for a scientific question that AI genuinely helps answer. State the problem, why current methods fall short, and what your AI approach makes possible.
- Use the two pages well: question, approach, data and computing needs, milestones, expected impact.
- Choose your top three papers carefully: pick the ones that best show you can deliver the proposed work.
- Update your Scopus profile: make sure your Scopus ID lists all your publications before you submit.
