Job Description
Stockholm University’s Department of Philosophy is recruiting a PhD student in practical philosophy, covering applied, normative and meta-ethics, political philosophy, philosophy of action, philosophy of the social sciences, philosophy of religion, aesthetics, philosophy of law, decision theory and game theory. The department hosts the Stockholm Centre for the Ethics of War and Peace, has links with the Institute for Futures Studies and the Stockholm Centre for Healthcare Ethics, and runs the Norms and Normativity graduate school with Uppsala and Gothenburg.

What Stockholm University is looking for
- General entry for doctoral studies
- Specific entry: at least 30 ECTS in practical philosophy at advanced level, including a master’s thesis, or equivalent
- Good knowledge of English
- A research proposal covering the problem and an outline of the project
