Job Description
Argonne is hiring a postdoctoral appointee for a multidisciplinary team building an electrochemical rotating packed bed reactor for energy-efficient separation of elements from complex mixtures. Day to day, the postdoc will design and make reactor prototypes, run electrodeposition in deep eutectic solvents (DES), measure mass transfer and selectivity under flow, and tune DES compositions for solubility, speciation and electrochemical access.
