Job Description
IIT Roorkee’s International Centre of Excellence for Dams (ICED) is holding a walk-in interview for three posts to build D-SMART, an AI-powered document management and knowledge retrieval system for dam documents, sponsored by the Bhakra Beas Management Board (BBMB), Chandigarh, and led by Prof. M.L. Sharma. Candidates can be hired as Project Associate, Research Associate or Project Fellow depending on qualifications.

The notice says degrees and experience must be in a relevant field, candidates must have a good academic record, and the work will involve both the laboratory and the field.
Eligibility
- Project Associate: B.E./B.Tech/BCA; Rs 25,000 to Rs 60,000 per month plus HRA
- Research Associate: M.Tech/MCA; Rs 30,000 to Rs 75,000 per month plus HRA
- Project Fellow: Ph.D. in Engineering or Science with 2 years’ experience after the Ph.D., or M.Tech/MCA with 3 years, or B.Tech/BCA with 6 years of experience; Rs 40,000 to Rs 1,00,000 per month plus HRA
Open to Indian nationals only. Among equally qualified candidates, SC/ST candidates will be preferred. No TA/DA is paid for attending the interview.
