Job Description

Lund University is hiring a research engineer in image processing, scientific visualisation and graphical user interface (GUI) development for CIPA, its local infrastructure for image processing and analysis, which also coordinates Lund’s node of InfraVis, Sweden’s national infrastructure for visualising scientific data. The job is to support research projects as an expert, for example by analysing X-ray microtomography data and building easy-to-use tools. Note that it is a short contract of three months, full time, from 1 October 2026 or as agreed.

About the research engineer role

  • Contribute expertise to research projects supported by CIPA and InfraVis
