Job Description
KTH’s Hultgren Laboratory in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering is hiring a researcher in machine learning for materials design, with a focus on steel. Working with industrial partners, you will build physics-informed models of steel heat treatment that use thermodynamics to keep predictions physically consistent, linking composition, processing, microstructure and properties to support alloy and process design for electrification and recycled feedstock.

- Method development combining physics, data-driven approaches and experiments
- Potential to lead machine learning for materials design in an experimental environment
Pay and location
