Broadcom is hiring a senior silicon photonics PIC design engineer in San Jose to lead design, simulation, layout and system-level testing of silicon photonic components for its optical interconnect products. The engineer designs with Lumerical and Cadence Virtuoso, works with layout and fab engineers on device design and process monitors, plans test and qualification, and validates link performance with electronic IC, packaging and system teams.
