Job Description
IonQ’s Quantum Memories team in Boston is looking for a senior solutions architect and technical strategist to connect its deep R&D with its go-to-market work. You will explain IonQ’s integrated quantum networking, sensing and compute technology to customers, and bring what customers need back into the technology roadmap. IonQ stresses that this is technical sales and strategy, not commissioned sales: success is judged on deal progress, roadmap impact and customer trust. A PhD in the physical sciences is one route in, but a dedicated quantum background is not required.

- Prepare an example of turning customer feedback into a change in a technical roadmap.
- Build a simple business case for a quantum networking pilot (costs, benefits, timeline) to show your commercial thinking.
- Be clear in the interview that you understand this is a strategy role, not a quota-carrying sales job.
