Job Description
Copenhagen Business School is recruiting a tenure track assistant professor in digital marketing, in its Department of Marketing, on a six-year track leading to a tenured associate professorship. How to prepare for this application
- Lead on trajectory rather than count. CBS says explicitly that research potential outweighs publication volume, so make the argument for where your work is heading
- Build a teaching portfolio that shows evidence, not intent: evaluations, materials you designed, and what you changed after feedback
- Name a realistic external funding target and say why your project fits it; funding acquisition is listed as a duty, not an aspiration
- Be honest about Danish. It is welcomed rather than required, but teaching runs in both languages and a plan to learn reads better than silence
- The advert requires participation in CBS's teaching excellence programme — treat that as a commitment you are making, and say so
- Six years is a long track. Show you have a second and third project, not only the thesis you just finished
