About Candidate
I’m a Full-time Ph.D. Research Scholar (Institute Fellowship) in the Department of Civil Engineering at the National Institute of Technology Puducherry, Karaikal, India, specializing in Geotechnical Engineering. My research focuses on experimental characterisation and uncertainty-informed evaluation of sustainable pond ash-bentonite composite for landfill liner application. My work highlights the use of probability and statistics to address variability and uncertainty in landfill liner design. My broader research interests include data-centric geotechnics, Numerical analysis, and environmental geotechnics.

Work & Experience
Doctoral research on assessing the suitability of pond ash-bentonite mixtures for landfill liner application using a probabilistic approach: hydraulic conductivity and mechanical characterisation, serviceability-based reliability analysis under varying overburden stress, and the combined effect of wet-dry cycles and pore fluid chemistry on volume change and hydraulic behaviour.
Advanced Geotechnical Laboratory (Jul 2024 - Dec 2024, Jul 2025 - Dec 2025), Surveying Laboratory (Jul 2024 - Dec 2024), Construction Material Testing Laboratory (Jan 2024 - Apr 2024), Highway Material Laboratory (Jul 2023 - Dec 2023), Engineering Survey Theory (Jul 2022 - Dec 2022) and Computer Aided Design (Jan 2022 - Apr 2022).
Design of a sheet-pile wall for the riverfront meandering area of the Vellar River using DeepEX; index and engineering property investigations of soil samples for highway and residential projects in Karaikal; and field investigation of a legacy municipal solid waste dumpsite at Karaikal.
Master's research on the experimental and numerical investigation of the stability of root-reinforced embankment soil, including shear strength at 30th and 80th day root maturity and slope stability modelling in PLAXIS and SLOPE/W. Consulting work included index property and CBR testing with soil investigation reports for the Tirupur highway widening project, strength testing of soil and rock cores with bore log and design recommendation reports for the Coimbatore-Tirupur flyover project, and coordination of index, consolidation and triaxial testing of undisturbed soils for the Mumbai-Ahmedabad high-speed rail corridor project.
