Job Description
The IIT Guwahati Technology Innovation and Development Foundation is inviting applications for a Junior Research Fellow on a project to design and develop underwater technologies for defence applications, led by Prof. Sandeep Reddy Basireddy. It is a short, 60-day appointment, and the interview is online.

Underwater systems for defence, such as sensors, vehicles and communication links, have to cope with pressure, corrosion and the way water absorbs radio signals. Project posts on such work give engineering graduates hands-on experience of design, prototyping and testing in a demanding environment.

Eligibility
- B.Tech with a GATE qualification
- Candidates already employed by central or state government, PSUs, autonomous bodies or private organisations must submit a no-objection certificate (NOC) from their employer in advance or at the interview
Selection is purely on performance in the online personal interview. Shortlisted candidates will be told the date and time by email. No TA/DA is paid, and no medical facility is attached to the post.
