IARI is filling one Research Associate post in maize molecular breeding in its Division of Genetics, New Delhi. The post sits on the maize project of ICAR’s National Mission on High Yielding Seeds. It needs a PhD. The walk-in interview is on 13 October 2026.

Eligibility
- PhD in Genetics, Plant Breeding, Genetics and Plant Breeding, Biotechnology, Botany or allied life sciences
- Desirable: research experience in gene expression, sequence analysis, marker development, multiplexing, molecular breeding and nutritional traits
- Age: up to 40 years for men and 45 years for women, with 5 years’ relaxation for SC/ST and women and 3 years for OBC
The posts are unreserved, purely temporary and end with the project. They give no claim to a regular ICAR job. Employed candidates need a no-objection certificate from their employer. No TA/DA is paid for the interview.
